วันเด็กวัดไทยฯ ดี.ซี. ปี ๒๕๖๗ ๑๔ มกราคม ๒๕๖๗… วัดไทยฯ ดี.ซี. ได้จัดงานวันเด็กขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก หลังจากหยุดมาสามปี เนื่องจากการแผ่ระบาดของไวรัสโคโรน่า ( Covid 19) โดยมีนางสาวจุลีพจน์ อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา อัครราชทูต เป็นตัวแทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ให้เกียรติมาร่วมงานด้วย เริ่มงานด้วยการไหว้พระ รับศีล นั่งสมาธิ รับของที่ระลึกจากพระสงฆ์ จากนั้นเด็กๆ ลงมาเล่นกิจกรรมต่างๆ และรับประทานอาหารว่างด้านล่างอุโบสถ นอกจากนี้ยังมีเจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิงและตำรวจจาก Montgomery County นำรถดับเพลิง รถฉุกเฉิน และรถตำรวจ มาเปิดให้เด็กๆ ได้ชมและสัมผัสอย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมทั้งได้สาธิตวิธีปฐมพยาบาลให้เด็กๆ และผู้ปกครองได้ดูเป็นกรณีพิเศษด้วย
